Gold (electrum variety) with Erythrite.
EE14AF4: Gold (electrum variety) with Erythrite
A novelty at Sainte Marie-aux-Mines 2017. Strongly elongated and doubly terminated native Gold in hooked growths. They are on matrix with radial and felted aggregates of acicular Erythrite crystals. These native Golds from Bou Azzer were noted a long time ago so this recent rediscovery must be considered as a novelty; at the same time a curiosity and a rarity. We analyzed these Golds to confirm the presence of Silver and, effectively, they are 26.1 % Ag with a 0.8 % As. We’ll send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.
The specimen has been reviewed, photographed and published as a novelty from Ste. Marie 2017 in the Russian magazine ‘Mineral Observer’ on page 69 in the volume 23, number 1

Gold (variety electrum) with Erythrite.
JFD19AN5: Gold (variety electrum) with Erythrite
A great novelty of the year 2017. On the slopes of Jebel Taghouni, next to the Taghouni mine, these Gold crystals were found which, inevitably, tend to be small but are interesting for their association with Erythrite, a very, very unusual association. In this piece the Gold is not sensational, but there are quite a few crystals of it and, above all, a lot of Erythrite, so the contrast of that rare association is clear.
